What is Onyx?

Onyx is a stone formed in caves by dripping stalagmites and stalactites. This process in forming the stone gives it very unique characteristics different than any other precious stone. Onyx ranges in color from a clean white to pink to honey, each slab is different in it’s own way, both in color and characteristics, appealing to those who want a counter, feature wall, reception desk or different application unlike any other.

Onyx is often used in luxury applications because of a higher price tag due its scarcity and extraction challenges. Being scarce though is what makes it attractive, making it one of the most popular precious stones.
